Great Lakes Stainless receives Outstanding Safety Achievement Award

The Great Lakes Stainless team received the Outstanding Safety Achievement award from the Northwest Michigan Industrial Association on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. This award recognizes excellence in safety, as measured by zero lost time injuries and zero restricted days in the year 2020. Safety Manager Brian O’Boyle accepted the award on behalf of Great Lakes Stainless. “We worked together in an extremely stressful time and were successful at keeping everyone safe. The added pressure of a pandemic and changing work requirements through the course of year made the year more challenging than other [years], but we still had no lost time incidents. Safety is a team effort and we couldn’t have done it without every member of the team working together to stay safe” said O’Boyle. Congratulations to the whole Great Lakes Stainless team and their commitment to stay safe together.
